Au Jus Upper West Side - New York City

Inconsistent sometimes when I order I get a good order of ribs and other times the pieces I get are not fulfilling because of who is preparing it in the kitchen. I do enjoy this restaurant.

The chicken soup was full of some green herb but absolutely tasteless, really thin broth. I didn't try the sides but they looked okay. The rub on the ribs is really spicy in a black pepper kind of way. The meat was tender but I just didn't care for the spicing at all. All I could taste was a black pepper like taste, not the meat. It was a bit overpowering. The brownie was tasty but overall I don't think I'd try this place again. It's just too spicy for me.

I received 6 small pieces of ribs. The amount of meat on the ribs did not deserve the price I paid.

Got tacos to go, completely soggy, not able to be held, it all became mushy. Very poorly

Soo good! We had the cuban sandwich and ribs with mac n cheese. The food was so fresh and we ordered drinks and they made them really tasety and a little strong which was so nice. Their sauces are super good as well. Definitely will come again!
