While We Were Young - New York

The restaurant put a hour time limit and our party felt that we were being watched and rushed from the moment we got there. I would have liked to be able to enjoy each other’s company without feeling like we were a burden. I understand the restaurant wants more covers but it felt pushy

Food, drinks, service all amazing! Love this special little spot

The drinks were very bland even plain lemonadeand the bartender had an attitude when we sent them back. The menu had very limited options. However the burger was the best part of the brunch and made up for the entire experience. It’s a really small place which caused it to be very hot inside. The pictures definitely make the place more intriguing than it is. I wouldn’t return

Great food with super friendly staff. We had the spicy chicken dumplings, tuna tartare, chicken and waffles, avocado toast, truffle fries, cauliflower tots, oh honey cocktail, and the like a bird cocktail. Everything we ordered was delicious. The chicken in both cases here has a kick to it but delicious nonetheless
