Service staff needs to be more prompt and hospitable

Hard place to review. Service was not bad, but not attentive either. Prices are okay for Manhattan. We thought that are entrees were quite good, but found the starters disappointing. Not clear whether I would go back probably yes for one more chance.

The lentil soup had no lentils in it nor any taste and ended up sending it back and exchanging it for a second order of babaghanoush which was very good, but found portion size small. I did enjoy the Adana lamb kebab. My husband’ s lamb stew (don’t remember name) was just average.

We were told that we had only 45 mins to eat since the table was reserved while other tables were empty. Our food came in super quick and the waiters were really pushing to get us out. We did like the food however not sure if we would come back. Very disappointed by the behavior and the way we were treated. Another thing was that I told them we were celebrating my son’s birthday. The table behind us and a lady with the birthday. They brought her a little treat to celebrate her while they were trying to push us out.

We went to Turquaz for an early dinner but it was pre theatre time. We ordered a salad along with hot appetizers and chicken kebabs. Food was great and the ambiance was really nice. One of our party is always concerned about noise level and even though the restaurant was full, it was really quiet. We will be back!
