The Royal Munkey - New York

The restaurant is located in a great area with attentive service. However, the food was just average. The Zoti wrap came with roasted peppers that would have been much better if they had been served warm. The seasoning was excellent, though. We visited for Sunday brunch, and it was surprisingly empty, which is a shame because the place isn’t bad at all.

I decided to try Wing on a whim, and it turned out to be much better than I expected. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was friendly, and the food was excellent. I definitely plan to return soon!

We had dinner at The Royal Munkey using a Blackboard Eats discount, which allowed us to save 30% on our bill. This made dining there an excellent value for a fantastic meal. The butter chicken and pork vindaloo were both outstanding. The appetizers on the prix fixe menu were also delicious. We will definitely be returning for more!

This is a beautiful Indian place in the gramercy quarter. eating here is excellent, and they have a $14 lunch special that comes with an escape and one side. I personally recommend the butter chicken or the lambburger, both delicious. during the week it is not overcrowded and they can sit easily. they are pretty fast with the order, and overall it is a good experience when they are a fan of classic Indian food.

Food was great, decor was cool. We sat at the bar, warm and inviting. I had the lamb chops (BEST EVER! , my boyfriend had the chicken curry. Came with rice and naan and they comped us a free drink and dessert. We will be back for the hospitality, small gestures like that is what keeps customers returning.
