Taboon - New York

I came here to celebrate my birthday. The food and service were amazing! We ordered the sambusak (bread with feta), the steak and ox tail, and lamb kebabs....

Beautiful, relaxing restaurant with delicious food, beautifully presented and attentive service.

Great food, great service, great drinks, we have tried this place on our trip to new york, was not disappointed. the hummus appetizer with roasted avocado was the best I ever had. sea bass was tender and fresh. the waitress has spoken to us in a mixed drink, cannot remember the names, something with gin and vermouth. delicious. we spent a lot, but it was a holiday. would definitely go back.

The main part of the restaurant is very nice, but we have clamped next to the bar. a bit loud and not very relaxing. I'm not sure if it makes a difference when they ask for the main dining room. eating was good, but I wish there were more vegetarian dishes. we had a special thing that was made vegetarian for us, but I didn't cost it.

Fabulous food, excellent service-best meal we have had in a long time.
