Sushi You - New York

The chef and servers were very friendly, and the sushi was fantastic! It’s a welcoming and tasty spot. I’ll definitely be back!

Since we were hungry, we ordered Party Tray 2 and Nabeyaki Udon. We were not disappointed. The fish was fresh, and the sushi rolls were delicious. The warm noodles in the soup were a perfect contrast to the cold sushi. We also tried the tempura cheesecake, which was an interesting combination. I should mention that the service was excellent; all the staff, including the chef, were very friendly. We took quite a while to decide on our orders, but they didn’t rush us at all. They made sure we always had hot tea. Even during the dinner rush, the sushi chef came over to serve us. While it’s not a high-end sushi spot like those in Manhattan, the quality of the food is definitely good. The interior isn’t fancy, but it has a cozy atmosphere. We usually go to Manhattan for sushi, but after COVID and the rise of anti-Asian sentiment, we prefer to support local businesses. Sushi You is now on our list of favorites.

I absolutely adored this sushi place! It's a small and cozy hidden gem with just a few tables and a friendly staff. The prices are great, and the sushi rolls are incredibly creative. I highly recommend trying the signature rolls: Handsome Boy and 73rd Ave! The menu seems extensive, featuring many other delicious options that I haven't had the chance to try yet. I'll definitely be returning!

I?ve ordered for pickup multiple times and this is my first time dining in! I came here with my parents on a Sunday early evening with only 2 other tables filled but as we were leaving this place was packed with dine ins and phone orders/pick up. We ordered a ?light? dinner of avocado salad, spring rolls, agedashi tofu for apps and two teriyaki bento box. We definitely over ordered because I was almost full from the apps alone, oops. Avocado salad was delish, camewith thinly sliced avo and ginger dressing on the side. Spring rolls (Harumaki was a bit disappointing in terms of side it was $5 for essentially two spring rolls. The salmon teriyaki Bento box was very filling and delish. Love thatyou can sub the shumai for tempura (only for $1 additional! and that came with two shrimp tempura and 3 veggie pieces. Worth the upgrade if you?re not a fan of shumai. Even though we only ordered 2 bento boxes to share (parents weren?t toohungry , they gave us miso soup for all of us! Service was great for the number of staff available and all the things each person had to do to hold down the fort. They were all super friendly and we got two slices of cantaloupe to end themeal!

My wife and I have been coming here for the better part of a decade and the food is delicious and always extremely fresh! Their prices are excellent and the staff is always respectful and fast. Definitely a go to spot for sushi and Japanese food!
