The watermelon and shrimp salad was delicious, especially on a warm evening. The catfish, although fresh and fried perfectly, was totally bland. The fried chicken was tasty, but for 18.00 three pieces was expected and the crust was a bit over done. Fine for a casual experience, but again, not at those prices.

The service was wonderful. Everyone was friendly, young, personable, and gave great recommendations. The food was absolutely superb and everyone shared meals to try a bite of everything. The restaurant is an ode to 90's Harlem when Marcus Samuelsson moved to the city and from the decor to the music, we felt taken back in time on a lovely, delicious nostalgic trip.

I got the tacos. The flavor was great, but the meat was somehow dry while the shells got soggy in about seconds. Eat them fast! My partner's food came cold. We sent it back. Are the potatoes supposed to be cold? The chicken was alright' but I wouldn't recommend anything else. beers. Pretty loud inside. Cool decor,

We had a good time. Attentive and helpful staff! Portions of food were good! Missed the red velvet desert! They were out!
