Great food and conveniently location for pm dinner for show blocks away

Food was fantastic! Service was very attentive. Definitely returning in the future

We loved our dinner at Scarlatto’s! The only small problem was the noise level was very loud but that is not the restaurant’s fault. Just very loud and happy customers. Not great for trying to have conversation

If you're looking for an Italian restaurant in the Theater District, this is it. On the other side of Avenue from Times Square, its got a great location, and a very nice menu. Our reservation was ready when we arrived, and we found the ambiance to be what you'd expect. The food was good and hot, the wine list was varied, and the price was reasonable. My only comment would pertain to the service, and I suppose its the nature of the beast when dining before an curtain. I made the reservation for so that in case our table wasn't ready, or in case the service was slow, we'd still have time to get to the theater. But in cases like ours, where our table WAS ready at and the service was NOT slow, I got the feeling they were trying to turn the table one more time before curtain, so we felt rushed. Mains arrived while appetizers were still on the table, fork was barely down from the main, and the dessert menu was in front of us. Waiter was rushed to the point where he forgot to bring the tea my wife ordered with dessert. I'd certainly go back to Scarllatto for lunch, or later in the evening, after the nearby curtains had already gone up

We went for Valentine’s Day and were able to make a last minute reservation and were greeted promptly politely upon arrival. Food and service was average and there was a good amount of options on the menu. We enjoyed the ambiance and comfort of the restaurant — a cute place to dine
