Pitti - New York

I had a fantastic experience during a business dinner with two others. The prices are fairly typical for New York City. The meatballs and rabbit pappardelle were absolutely delicious. Definitely save room for dessert!

The food was average considering the high prices, and the long wait in line was quite frustrating. We didn't even bother taking a picture of the pasta because it didn't really impress us.

The food was quite delicious, but I found it to be pricey given the portion sizes. For $25 pasta, I expected a bit more. They only accept cash and didn’t inform us of that when we were seated; it’s supposedly noted on the menu. Be cautious, as they tend to use delay tactics when giving change, even after receiving a generous tip.

I really do love Bar Pitti. The food is great. The service is extremely rushed, indifferent and just not great.I feel like they are a NY staple but the service has gone down. Listen, we are all exhausted New Yorkers but that’s not the vibe you want when you want a causal summer dinner.Ended up only having the mussels and a peril spritzes. Had dinner elsewhere.

Come here for Authentic Italian cuisine. Everything we ate was a 10/10, but my absolute favorite dish is the truffle pasta. Please be prepared to pay with cash and remember that there are no reservations!
