I tried calling the restaurant at 4:30, but they never called me back. I called again at 6:00 and they showed no interest in helping me. After contacting Grubhub and going through all the hassle of explaining the situation, they credited my credit card $41 and offered a $15 credit for my next order. However, when I placed my next order, I did not receive the discount as promised. I am very disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant.
Another update on my awful experience with Jerry at Pescatore! I just checked my credit card to confirm that my canceled order was refunded by Pescatore, but it was not. I called and was assured a call back from Jerry, but I have yet to receive one. This lack of customer service is no surprise! I have reported the issue to my bank and they will handle it. It's not worth my time and frustration! There are better fish in the sea! Cindy, I didn't say I love your fish, I only said it was good. There is a difference between love and good. It has been almost a week and I have not seen the refund on my credit card. I called today and was told Jerry would call me back, but it has been 12 hours and still no call. It was not the delivery service's fault - I called the store directly multiple times due to the poor service from the delivery service. Nobody seems to get it right. The fish I ordered from Fresh Direct was delicious and arrived on time as promised. One last point and then I am done with all of you. I am not criticizing, I am simply stating the facts. Happy fishing.
The 8 10 oz lobster tail we ordered was absolutely delicious. It was sweet and fresh, and at $35, it was a reasonable price for lobster in NYC. If I had ordered it at a different restaurant, it would have likely cost me around $100.
Got their Chirashi bowl with salmon, tuna and eel. The add-one's include edamame, avocado, and Tamagoyaki.The fish was fresh and the rice was well seasoned and had great texture.
Just go to Citarella instead!!! Five days in advance I placed an order for a dinner party. I received a text message from them that the order had been received and confirmed. When the delivery date and time went by I called them to see how late the delivery was running. They told me my order had been cancelled and Door Dash should have contacted me. Door Dash. I place a $150 seafood order and they don’t even have the courtesy to call me directly when they screw up. Additionally, they clearly do not have the business acumen to manage a future delivery. They left me with nothing and I would NEVER trust them again. NEVER!!
