Merrion Square - New York

Great local bar uptown. No frills, but shots, whisky and solid brews on tap. decent burger and pommes. Sports goes on screens for all hours. Pool table...

The staff/owner is very rude and harmless. The food there is terrible and you are forced to buy food there and the place is always so dirty it smells...

For the third time in a row, I waited to see over 15 minutes, much less asked what I wanted. Different days of the week, different days of day, never...

This is another one of my favorite spots to visit when I'm in New York City! They have great wings, a good selection of beers, sports on TV, and live music. Plus, there's always an interesting mix of people to meet.

It's a great spot for Philadelphia Eagles fans, but if you're not one, you might feel out of place. The service is good, but the food could use some improvement.
