Maramana - New York

Beautiful place oriented early, but later becomes loud on a Friday evening.

I came back to maramana after the reopening. the eating was excellent as usual, but unfortunately the service has a big hit. Although the server were nice, their service was not good, it seemed mostly out of ignorance, they did not know what they did. I miss the old server. Unfortunately, I thought twice about eating there. I'll go back, as often as not. eating is still fantastic.

Although the servers were nice, their service was not good, it seemed mostly out of ignorance, they did not know what they did. I miss the old servers. Unfortunately, I thought twice about eating there. I'll go back, not so often. The food is still brilliant.

One downside is that the atmosphere can be quite loud, making it difficult to have a conversation over dinner. We found the music so overwhelming that we ended up having our meals packed to take home. Thankfully, the food was still excellent when we ate it later. If you enjoy vibrant music while you dine, this place might be perfect for you. As for the service, it seems to fluctuate—sometimes it's great, and other times it’s less than stellar. This visit was pleasant, but our previous experience was pretty dismal. Additionally, if you make a reservation through OpenTable and mention it to the hostess, don’t be surprised if she seems unfamiliar with the system. When the restaurant first opened, the service was outstanding, but now it feels unpredictable. Due to a few unsatisfactory experiences, we've decided not to dine in anymore, although we will certainly continue to order takeout or delivery. Personally, I'm disappointed by these changes since I used to love going here, but I understand that what may not work for me could be preferable for others. Let's hope that's the case!

The service was terrible. I waited an hour for my food, and when I ordered a Caesar salad, they gave me mayonnaise as the dressing, which was completely wrong. I will never return!
