Lenwich - New York

I don't give away too many of my favorite places, but I'm a lenwich fan. not particularly cheap, but never regrettable.

Favorite sandwich area in the city. I love their cranberry white chocolate cookies on the counter. I always get her breakfast plates and the turkey-bone sandwich. the last time I left, they were out of house-grooms and offered French pommes that I wasn't a fan of, but otherwise def was visiting.

I have been going to Lenny's/Lenwich for years. The new location on Third Ave is much brighter than the old Second Ave location, but I do miss the people watching on 77th and Second. With regards to the food, I've always been a fan of their breakfast offerings. Lately, I've been obsessed with the Spanish Omelette. Kudos for also serving diced potatoes instead of generic home fries. Getting your food can be slow during lunchtime but you just have to be patient.

Huge disappointment. I ordered through Grubhub to be picked up. The App said it was ready and when i got there no one knew anything about it, then they said it JUST ARRIVED and showed me the printout, saying it would be made up ASAP. after waiting 45 minutes I asked what happened, they said there was no order. THEY CANCELLED IT WHILE I STOOD THERE AND DIDN'T THINK TO MENTION IT TO ME. Really the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time.

For $8 more you can get a bigger and better pastrami sandwich in NYC, but Lenwich is everywhere and makes a decent pastrami and/or corned beef sandwich at a reasonable price.
