Nothing is pedestrian at l'Adresse, even the ostensibly most commonplace dish, such as my eggs Benedict with salmon, which was prepared on brioche muffis made in-house. The attention to detail is refreshing: The milk for my coffee, for example, had been steamed, my coffee spoon had been placed on a cocktail napkin, so that it would not touch the table, and cutlery was promptly replaced when moving between courses. The view from the restaurant is delightful (the west side of Bryant Park, with its tall, leafy, verdant trees), and the interior of the restaurant is modern, chic, yet warm and inviting. The service was truly excellent attentive yet unintrusive. I will find myself returning to l'Adresse over and over again. It is truly the address...
Service and location were impeccable. My steak was okay.
The restaurant was warm. Too busy for servers. Cocktails not great.
Stopped in for Brunch and had a really good time. Food was good, service was good... I would definitely recommend.
This is my first visit back to the restaurant since the pandemic, and I was pleasantly surprised by the improved service. I remember lunch used to take a long time because the food was slow, but now I was able to finish my meal in just an hour. However, I did notice that the prices have increased significantly since the pandemic. It's easy to spend over $50 per person without even ordering a drink. This restaurant seems to cater more towards business people coming for lunch and dinner, as most patrons are dressed in suits or business casual attire. The food is quite exquisite and meticulously prepared.
