Your experience really depends on how well you can handle the fattiness of the Wagyu. I personally enjoy my meat with some fat, so I was fine, but my friends found it overwhelming after just a few bites because the cuts were very rich. I made three rounds and absolutely loved the medium-rare doneness of all the cuts; the meat is so tender it practically melts in your mouth. I found that pairing it with their salads helped balance out the richness, and the house-made onion and kimchi were great additions. They cooked the meat for us and promptly brought more salad as soon as we finished our last plate. I’ve been here twice already and I’m definitely looking forward to a third visit!
As others have mentioned, the beef here is fantastic. The all-you-can-eat option is a great value, although the meat is quite fatty, so you might find yourself eating less than you anticipated. I didn't appreciate that rice was an additional $4 a bowl, especially since we were already spending over $150 per person. It felt a bit like being nickel-and-dimed. When we ordered extra cuts of meat, the portions didn’t match what we’d received earlier; we asked for thin slices, but large chunks were served instead. Additionally, we were informed that there would be a charge for leftovers, which I understand is fair, but it was puzzling to receive steak-sized pieces when everything else had been smaller, bite-sized portions. Despite these issues, I would still consider returning.
The service really reflects excellent teamwork. You'll understand what I mean when you visit. The "all you can eat" option is simply delicious. I will definitely be back!
Dont get bamboozeled by the white waiter serving only “still or sparkling water”
Best Wagyu in NYC, even Michelle. You can never imagine how such delicious and quality food service Hyun provides in such cheap price. Those who eat wagyu a lot must know what I am talking about when seeing the pictures below, gorgeous marble. Three encores and many other stuff only costed me around $250. Btw there was a vodka cocktail that was ultra smooth to drink with. DO NOT FORGET ORDER SOY PASTE. Salads are great too. Too full so missed dessert.
