Harlem Pizza Co - New York

The restaurant only offers whole pizzas, not slices, and unfortunately, the pizzas tend to be quite soggy. Additionally, the area feels unsafe due to the presence of local gangs nearby.

I stopped by to try their margherita pizza and also ordered a mixed green salad that included pancetta, Gorgonzola cheese, and cranberries. Unfortunately, there was no basil on the margherita pizza, and they only informed us after it had already been prepared. As I had come specifically to try that pizza, it was disappointing that this wasn’t communicated while we waited for our order. Once we tasted the pizza, we found it lacking. However, the salad was a pleasant surprise; we really enjoyed its salty and sweet flavors. Overall, we just expected more from the pizza itself.

My first try at this pizza joint and I was knocked over with the taste of my pizza!!! It was a Cheese Me White pizza adding anchovies. Holy shiznit it was GREAT! Probably the best pizza I?ve had on the east coast good!! Since the pizzas were 12? Iordered a veggie-white pizza too. It was good but it had bacon on it. I was a bit confused but I love bacon, so it all workedout. The baby arugula salad was fresh and very good!!! Unfortunately they were out of the Tiramisu. It sounded Sooo good. Maybeon my next order and there WILL BE a next order!!! Thanks Harlem Pizza for the friendly customer service and great tastingfood!!

Wow!!! Experience: Atmosphere was great. There was a decent amount of seating for this smaller average size place. Service: Excellent. Very attentive wait staff. We were there during a slower time of day. Never ran out of drinks and the food camequickly and properly. Food: Great. I?m not pizza connoisseur but it was really good. We tried two types which were bothgood. Overall: we loved it and would definitely return.

This is my favorite pizza spot in the neighborhood and definitely one of my top five in NYC. The Sweet Fatty is a must-try. You have to visit this place!
