Gabby O'hara's - New York

A great pub with authentic British offerings. My wife had the shepherd's pie (technically cottage pie because of the beef) and loved it. I ate the chicken curry, which was excellent. Our server was really good; she paid close attention to our needs without being intrusive. The pub itself has a great atmosphere that feels like an old pub in the UK with dark wood everywhere. It was not crowded and seemed to be mostly a place for locals in spite of its proximity to Times Square.

I was looking for a couple of drinks while exploring Times Square, and I found a nice spot. It was relatively quiet, with just four people, allowing us to have a conversation without needing to shout. The service was excellent, and the drinks were great! We even caught Coco winning the US Open while we were there!

It's a typical pub. If you're stopping by for a drink, that's perfectly fine. The food I tried (cod and chips) was just okay, but my friend raves about their French onion soup. The bartenders are friendly. The bathroom is located downstairs and feels a bit worn. Overall, it's a simple spot to unwind after work with a cold drink.

I'm here on a work conference and I came here to get away. Andy at the bar was amazing and the service was 10/10!!

Bring back the sweet potato tots!!! Been going to this bar for years. Strong drinks, usually always room. Good service.
