Absolutely Amazing! Glad I was able to experience this restaurant, on my bucket list for some time. Amazing from start to finish, wine pairings were amazing as well. Scallop dish was my favorite, but all dishes fantastic. The person I was dining with has a severe shellfish allergy and it was handled incredibly well and substitutions were on par with original dishes. Great experience!!!!
Bar seats are uncomfortable and it's too loud in the bar to hear the dish descriptions, but everything else is great.
We will miss Contra.. look forward to new iteration
Pity they're closing. Surely there is still room in NYC for creative tasting menus with such care for detail and outstanding results.
