Aside from the pork belly noodles, below average food, worse drinks including slightly stale beer, and poor service had two waiters who did not coordinate and it was still very slow
After asking us to wait for minutes for a table and access the bar, we were informed upon being seated that the menu was in the process of being changed and most items in fact, all of the items our party of wished to order were unavailable. This when we had held the res for over a week. We left. Clancey’s is definitely not recommended, but the excellent simple Dominican place on the corner, called Cibao, welcomed us warmly and served up delicious mofongo and arroz con camarones. Skip the hip atmosphere of Clancey’s and go for the warm bienvenida dominicana at Cibao, at half the price
Food was good. The service was a bit on the slow side took minutes to get the carafe of mimosa we ordered and we were next to the bar. Place just seemed understaffed and felt bad for our waiter cause he was trying the best he can to cover the entire restaurant. We would have ordered more drinks, but after an hour and a half of waiting with no silverware and napkins by the time the food was served my friends got a little worried we were just gonna stay there longer
Great little brunch place. Awesome cocktails slices of bacon in the Bloodier Mary!, delicious food and great service. Highly recommend
