Was craving Indian. Decided to finally try this spot out. It's basically a chipotle for Indian food. You either choose a rice plate or roti burrito. Add protein of your choice and extra toppings. Rice bowl you have two options for protein. Two optionsfor rice. I Just opted for two servings chicken makhni with basmati rice and a side of roti. Its a lot of food. The meal wasalright. Felt like it was lacking flavor. The roti was a little hard. I would come again though and try the samosas.
A very good choice to eat something good and fast. They have a few variations, with a rice base (basmati or brown) or in a wrap, then a selection of meats or vegies. This place provides good value and I'm always happy to grab lunch there.
The ultimate best option for Indians studying at Columbia. The food is perfect for daily meals. It does not have heavy cream that other restaurants do. This place reminds me of Podi Bhaji Kendra from Mumbai. I have been eating her for a very long timeand it is my go to place for affordable Indian food. Their sweet dishes are overly sweet so that can be avoided. Otherwise, itis the best location for daily meals.
The food was outstanding, and the service was both friendly and quick. I will certainly return!
