We stopped in here a VERY cold January morning after visiting Central Park to warm up with coffee and fill our hungry stomachs. We both got sandwiches I got the Vermonter which has apple, turkey, and brie, and my friend got the jambon beurre. Super filling, we only ate half and saved the rest for a snack. Fabulous service too. Personable, kind, and speedy.
Amazing pain au chocolat! Really enjoyed it and think it’s one of the best I’ve tried here in NYC. We also ordered their vegetable sandwich which was great too. Cold brew was okay! Great location to people watch. The staff was kind too.
The breads here are superior to anything I've tried on the Upper West Side. So I was disappointed when I ordered a vegetable sandwich and it was pulled out of the fridge, wrapped in plastic. A quick stint in their oven did little to revive it. Bread this good deserves better treatment!
The almond croissant has a huge quantity of almond frangipane inside. It is the best-tasting almond croissant that I have ever had. I drove all the way out from Eastern Long Island to eat it, this past Sunday when it was easy to find free street parking.
Dining indoors socially-distanced was strange but Bar Boulud came through with fine food and service. We shall return
