B. Cafe East - New York

What a discovery! We sat at the bar and were attended to by bartender Lee, who provided fantastic service and engaged us in wonderful conversation. The food was excellent as well. Highly recommend!

My friends and I had lunch here before going on a Bowery Boys tour, which was also fantastic. The drinks and food were delightful, and the atmosphere in the back patio was lovely. My only issue was that we wanted to move tables, but they didn’t allow us to do so. We didn't see any reason for that, but overall, I would definitely recommend this place for brunch.

We made a last-minute reservation for six people at 2:45 PM after discovering that another nearby restaurant had a lengthy 90-minute wait, which wasn't ideal given that we had two elderly guests with us. We were visiting a close family member at MSKCC after surgery, and I'm so glad we chose B. Cafe instead. Our experience was outstanding. The bartender was both knowledgeable and friendly, showing great patience as our group arrived just before the end of the brunch service. The brunch menu offered everything you'd expect from a NYC Belgian café, and we thoroughly enjoyed the mussels, burgers, and sandwiches we ordered. The patio was delightful—bright, yet warm and inviting. We will definitely be back!

We left B Cafe this Sunday after experiencing the best brunch I've had in a long time. The restaurant has a cozy and warm atmosphere where you are quickly welcomed and seated. The attentive staff takes your order right away, and your food arrives swiftly. Despite this prompt service, you never feel rushed; in fact, the opposite is true. You can take your time at the end of the meal, and there’s no waiting at the beginning. The food is delicious: the eggs are cooked to perfection, and there’s bacon, sausage, and authentic fries... along with hot chocolate or tea. It feels like the ultimate homemade meal—or what you imagine the perfect homemade meal should be. Oh, if only you could recreate this at home just as they do!
