The Jollof rice is absolutely delicious, and the plantains are spot on. The egusi soup is fantastic as well. Overall, it was a wonderful meal!

Another issue was the customer service. After I had paid and while my order was being prepared, the restaurant had DoorDash call me to inform me of a $5 extra charge. When I inquired about this, they claimed it was for the soda and sweet plantains, which I had already paid for according to the menu pricing. My soup without meat was $13, sweet plantains were $1, white rice was $3, and I had upgraded to a large for an additional $3. I also ordered two cans of soda at $2 each but received two glass bottles of 7 Up instead. While this wasn’t a huge deal, it should have been accurate to what I ordered. My total came to $28 after taxes, and they insisted on charging me more for items I had already paid for, having the DoorDash representative call me twice even after I explained the situation. Overall, between the poor customer service and the unexpected meat in my vegetarian soup, I don’t think I will be returning to this restaurant.

The fufu and okra soup with tilapia was absolutely delicious! However, the jollof rice could have been improved.

Chicken is a little tough and hard but the jollof is great

This was my first experience with the delicious cuisine of Ghana, and it did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, allowing me to sample several dishes before I settled on the chicken Wakey. The portion size was impressive, but it was so tasty that I finished every bite. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, and I can't wait to return to try more offerings. I highly recommend it—if I could give Accra 6 stars, I absolutely would!
