Wok And Sushi - New Westminster

This place is almost comically terrible. Been there twice and both times the staff have been inattentive to the point of ignoring us, and the food has been deeply mediocre. Last time I had an uninspired sushi roll, and this time we did the wok dishes, which, although they tasted okay-ish for flavour, boasted what was clearly frozen mix veg as their only vegetable and the chicken dish was all fat, but, like, not chicken fat? It was big and chunky, like pork fat. None of the dishes we got was worth the $20+/per price tag. They also didn’t feel that clean, as a restaurant, as their washrooms were a bit squicky, and there was no hand soap.

Pretty tasty and inexpensive compared to what others usually charge. I get a lot. I got the bone broth ramen. Only issue was the egg was well done. Think would be better if its usual like runny. Other wise no issues. The decor is lovely too.

I got the Spicy Chicken Karage Donburi bowl. I asked them to drizzle mayo on top as well. I always get this and it's always delicious. They even gave me miso soup and hot tea on the side.

Great meal last night with our family. Great service, great food, and we were fed very quickly. They were good at spreading out the shared plate deliveries so it felt like every few minutes there was something new to eat.

Great and tasty food! Located at a convenient place in NW SkyTrain stn mall. However, they should change the menu description for 짜장밥 to White Rice with Black Bean Sauce, and not make it stay as Fried Rice with Black Bean Sauce. The rice I got was plain rice. It was not fried.The black bean sauce typically should also include some pork, but there were very few small pieces of pork and rest were veggies.
