Wendy's - New Westminster

This Wendy's is only a few minutes from my house. Once a week at around midnight I get a craving and must satisfy it with a Spicy Chicken combo. Great food quality and service. The drive thru is open 24 hours. One of the better Wendy's out there.

I asked that my burger be made fresh, which usually requires that I wait 7-10 minutes, and I have no problem with it, but when I went to the Wendy's on the sixth street, a burger was given to me in 2 minutes and I asked if it was fresh and she didn't even say after I had specified that. Then I told her that I don't care that it's fresh. I waited 10 minutes and got a cold burger

Friendly staff that goes through the ride, but I hate it when they forget the napkins. The sour cream and the baked potatoes are soooo good.

We've been here for 20 years. It is consistent in quality and cleanliness. The staff is very friendly. The kitchen area seems ridiculously cramped as many are back. We ask for no sauce and 8/10 get sauce in the pack. Now we have to! Check every item to see if they have it right so we don't have to drive back to get the right order. Many times the children have gone without eating their chicken sluice, because it has sauce in it, and we hurry up on borders (which is why we go through a ride through the first place. Not sure why or what the problem is with special orders, but now we know how to order (we order what we want, and then stay in the window and check it an inconvenience for those behind us in the line, but necessary to get our order right. I always have additional napkins, spoons, straws and ketchup in the car, as they are often missing from the bag. If the part of the service would improve, I would give him 5/5 for the Wendy restaurant. Because of the lack of incorrect order, we must give him 3/5.

I've gone to this Wendy's for years, always using the drive-thru. It's my favourite Wendy's. The service is always excellent with a smile. Food is served quickly, it's fresh, hot and tasty. Sometimes I just go through to buy a frosty because they're unique and only Wendy's has them. Their salads are great too, especially the apple pecan one with blue cheese. If I had to make any comment as to how they could improve their food, it would be the burger choices. There needs to be a healthier choice with a gluten free option... or a veggie burger or something like that. Burger places don't seem to step far out of the box with their creativity and I think it's time.
