The Chicken Donair was fantastic. The meat was tender and the portion size was good. The owner is a very friendly person. Overall the food is inexpensive and the quality is very good.
Cute little shop, nothing fancy, but delicious food! You get a lot for the price, very well worth it! The family that runs it are always very nice and welcoming.
This is my absolute favorite place to eat! The service is great, the owner is the sweetest lady! I always feel so welcome coming in. And the food is so delicious!!! Great portion sizes, made right in front of you. Im becoming a regular and haven't cooked in like 2 weeks because I just always want their food. The chicken platter is my favorite, the flavors just explode in your mouth. The samosas and baklava are amazing as well, best I've ever had. I haven't had much of a chance to try anything else as I love the chicken platter so much I just always have to get it lol. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Highly recommended!!
The food is tasty, the portions are big, the price is cheap.
I didn 't go in for the longest time because it looks like 'just another shawarma place ', you know the kind of places that are quick and cheap but aren 't super clean, and have kinda surly service and low quality food. I finally gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised, the place is very clean and the service is warm, friendly and prompt. Best of all, you can see and taste an obvious difference in the food because of the focus on in-house and from-scratch preparation. I went to Palmyra in Guildford recently but wasn 't too impressed -slow, unfriendly service, hummus from a can, smallish portions and a chintzy salad. The falafel plate here was totally in-house and you could taste the difference, the portion sizes were great, and the salad was substantial. The tabouleh had big chunks of tomato and cucumber in it, not like the tasteless grass clippings with tiny pieces of tomato in it you get at so many other places. I was also impressed with the in-house hummus. And at around $10, it was good value. In the quick service category, this is a hidden gem.
