Caribou Coffee - New Ulm

Caribou is alway good. This location is bigger than most with plenty of seating. They also have really good tea, which is often harder to find.

Outside the Drive Thru where you pick up your beverage; there is a lot of bird droppings. Disgusting.

This caribou in New Ulm used to be one of my favorite (and I go to quite a few in Minnesota) until, yesterday, Monday, January 8, 2024. I went inside (I usually go through the drive thru) and spend over $15 as usual, but the service was not pleasant. My server was a heavy-set male with blond hair and glasses. He wasn 't polite and never said thank you nor have a nice day which is customary for caribou. When he was finished bagging my order, he put the bag on the counter in front of me and walked off. When I told him you could at least said thank you because I am not obligated to visit this place. He immediately started mocking me in a sing-song voice, it 's okay, it 's okay, it 's okay..... I told him it will be okay after my review. I visited that location EVERY Monday and Tuesday, sometimes twice a day, (I am addicted to the cranberry muffins) I bet a few associates will remember me because of my orders.

I’d like to say when you spend $7.30 on a small drink I think it’s just rude for them to shove the credit card thing in your face and ask for a tip I don’t tip at McDonald’s you guys do the same thing so then you feel bad when you don’t tip stop doing it Caribou if we want to tip will tip if we don’t we won’t Next time I’m gonna go and pay with cash. They only do it when you have a credit card. Ridiculous shame on you.
