My family has been enjoying this traditional Italian restaurants food for over 15years. So authentic and the prices are great too! Family owned and I don't know if he still is around, but the owner would stop in and help greet and serve customers. He was great with the kids! Oh, by the way one of my favorite dishes is the Grouper Isabella and the Eggplant Florentine. (my husband and I would pick turns ordering) And of course the traditional New York style Pizza is the best you'll find this side of the Dixie Line... It's even been featured several times as one of Orlando's great eatery's! Yum, Yum, Yum!!!
If I could give more that 5 stars I would. Great people, great food! Did take out as well one night. Pizza is the best. Also had their OssoBucco special. Soooo good.
The service was very good very professional waiter. Made a reservation , hostess sat us down we where quickly greeted and offered drinks. Food came out promptly; however I ordered veal something that is rare to find on menues around here and I have not had it for a long time. Unfortunately it was disappointing to me. Veal should almost melt in your mouth but mine was chewy. I am not one to bother complaining to wait staff. They want to please. The choices that are typically offered are to remake, pick something else or take it off the bill. Really the only things you can do when you get it wrong. For me there is no do overs, you got to get it right the first time. I am not going to wait for something else or a replacement. I came to eat. It wasn't in-edible it just was disappointing. Now to get something off the bill well that takes a Manger or owner approval. No I don't want to go through that. And yes I ate it. I came to eat. Not to have a discussion about why I ate it if I didn't like it. So you eat it and you chalk it up to an successful choice at that restaurant. I would go back they where very accommodating. Just wouldn't choose that dish again. Just a note: I am not a fickle eater, I will eat just about anything. But I have been exposed to very good dining and here on the east coast of Florida it has been largely disappointing. I suppose resteraunts don't have to work to hard to refine their mis-steps. They have a continous flow of out of towners that may never come back no matter what they do, they know there will likely always be somebody coming in to replace them. Table turns is the way reteraunts gauge there success as long as they are meeting that goal the owners are happy. In a small area like new Syrmina Beach where they generally repel development where else are you going to go? Mediocre is good enough.
Very friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. The veal parmesan was delicious! Can't wait to go back and check out more on their broad menu.
I ordered a 16 cheese pizza to go. After getting home and looking at it, the pieces were obviously small, so I measured and it was as close to 14 diameter exactly as anything else. But worse than that, the crust was more dense and unsatisfying than I can ever remember from a NY style pizza, which I've been eating on an off for 50 years. I had to rest considerably between pieces because my temples ached from the intense workout my jaw muscles got. I've had pizza from here twice earlier and had a better experience, but I won't be taking a chance again.
