I started with a chilled bubbly prosecco. The watermelon gazpacho was flavorful with just the perfect hint of spice. The main entree Chicken Francese was pounded thin mouth wateringly tender with just the right amount of capers in a delightfully bright lemon sauce accompanied by thin capellini pasta. I finished off my meal with a Vanilla Bean Brulee and left nary a drop in the bowl. Superb Exceptional says it all!
GOODNESS simple the best. Jeanette and Jamie have amazing recipes made with fresh ingredients. The staff couldn't be more accommodating. When we go with a party of more than 4 we do go a bit early and it is SOOOO worth it. Last night our party of nine was treated incredibly. We each had a difference entree and everyone was very pleased. The birthday day cake was perfect, yummy, and so pretty. Thank you Jeanette and Jamie for providing us with such a lovely experience.
I am incredibly disappointed! I visited this restaurant for lunch today and had a disappointing experience. The food took an eternity to arrive, and when it finally did, the bread was stale. I was told I was getting an oyster po'boy before I ordered, but what I received was far from it! It came on a stale hamburger bun with very few oysters. The French fries were greasy and strange, and to top it off, the service was terrible! Our server never refilled our drinks, and I had to flag down another server for assistance. It seemed like our server was more focused on attending to a large party to earn tips rather than taking care of us. We will not be returning. This used to be one of my favorite places, but given the prices and the decline in food quality in recent months, it just isn’t worth it. For the record, please look up how a po'boy should be made! It should be served on fresh hoagie rolls to make it truly memorable. Anyone can serve mediocre food, but outstanding food is what keeps customers coming back—and people are willing to pay for it!
We had a fantastic weekend, thanks to the incredible food at Bakers Table. We tried several dishes, and each one was exceptional. Bakers Table has definitely earned a spot in our top three restaurants. Their menu is fantastic, and the service is excellent—a surprising delight for a beachside dining experience. Highly recommend!
The Eggs Benedict was cooked to perfection and absolutely delightful! I enjoyed the thin potato wedges, although they were a bit cold. The coffee is the best in town! The service was very friendly, and they made sure to check on us while we were dining outside. I also ordered a prime rib sandwich to go and can't wait to try it!
