Boston's Fish House - New Smyrna Beach

The food here is outstanding, and the staff is very friendly, especially Kirsten. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic seafood from Boston, Massachusetts. They source their seafood from Ipswich, Massachusetts.

We were seated in a booth that had just been cleaned, but everything was still quite wet from what appeared to be a mop. We had to grab napkins to wipe down the table ourselves. The service was adequate, but the staff didn't seem particularly friendly, even after we mentioned it was our first visit. We had some questions about the menu, but our server seemed disinterested in providing answers. I inquired about the stuffed flounder, which the menu listed as sole, and the server suggested it was flounder, so we decided to take a chance on it. The dish came with two sides, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor, and the stuffing was extremely soggy. The accompanying brown mushroom sauce was also rather bland. The sides were decent, though. Our server returned only once after our food was served, and then again to clear the plates and ask if we wanted dessert. They never checked in about our drinks. Considering the price, there are certainly better dining options elsewhere.

I'm not a seafood person, but my family members say the seafood here is amazing. I got the chicken tenders and they were delicious and I got a lot of food for the price! The staff was very friendly.

THE best clam chowder and crab legs we’ve ever had in Florida. The clam chowder was so rich in flavor and was perfectly thick in texture. They were very generous with the clams too, they had a nice bite to them and the veggies were not too over cooked. We had their crab leg special that was a pound and a half and it came with 2 sides. It was the perfect amount to share. The crab legs were juicy and they were sweet ! You didn’t even have to dip it in the butter. It was that good. The meat came out cleanly and it was perfectly steamed where it wasn’t stuck to the shell. Great dinner for our first time there !

Always a great, casual dining experience for some of the best fresh seafood around. Not fancy, but it is inviting. Been dining here for years.
