Dunbrody Country House - New ross

Had a relaxing weekend in dunbrody. the food and the accommodation was first class. the staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend

Very good hotel but... The house is marvelous,the bedroom , beautiful and very clean, the Dining room is splendid, I think my best place in this hotel.Diner and beakfast are fabulous.But with this kind of price we didn't appreciate at all that we had to wait 15 minutes at the reception(ringing the bell and phone which are on the desk) before someone came to welcome us.My husband had to wander in the hotel to find somebody. In the bathroom there is only one mini showergel, not enough to have each a shower at our arrival (18.00) and one in the morning ! The service at the restaurant was uneven,I don't talk about the apprentices, they are here to learn, and I really appreciate they can start their experience in this kind of hotel... And please update your paper, we've been given a list of the best things to do in the area, first the spa in the hotel is closed, the Mount Congreve garden is closed, and the Colclough walled garden is not free (5 euros only) but not free. Because of all these reasons I can't give you 5 stars.

Wonderful local produce emphasis and crisp elegant flavours.

This place has everything for a getaway break. We loved it.
