Robillard's Boucherie - New Roads

The Boudin Balls are absolutely amazing, and the deer burritos are fantastic. The selection is impressive—what more could a hungry Cajun want? It's a superb stop for a meal!

This was the best boudin we tried during our time in the area. I had to fill a cooler to bring some back to Missouri!

I absolutely love everything from the hot box in Marksville, LA, but I won't be stopping in New Roads again. On my way home from Florida, I happened to see their location in New Roads, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the cracklings were hard and overcooked, and everything else I ordered was just unpleasant. I'm not sure if it was an off day for the cooks, but I won't be returning to New Roads. I'll definitely continue to visit Marksville, though—I've never been disappointed there, and I'm confident others wouldn't be either.

We ordered 1.5 pounds of their cracklings, but they were too salty and overcooked, making them hard to eat. My wife went back inside to talk to them, but they refused to give us a refund. Instead, they offered a gift card, even after we explained that we live across the river and don’t visit often. I don’t think we'll be returning.

It was decent overall! I have no major complaints. The service was quite good, I suppose.
