Mc Keansburg - New Ringgold

In short: be sure to make a reservation for Sunday brunch! We've dined here several times for dinner, and our experiences have consistently featured good service and tasty food. We've often heard wonderful things about their Sunday brunch, so we finally decided to drop by last minute. After checking their website to confirm they were open, we hopped in the car with our group of four adults and four children. Upon arrival, we waited at the entrance for about five minutes before anyone came to greet us. The restaurant seemed almost empty, with only a couple of tables occupied by couples. We were informed that we couldn't be seated without a reservation. It turns out that reservations for Sunday brunch are mandatory, with no exceptions. When I asked why reservations were needed, the response was, "so this doesn’t happen." I'm still trying to wrap my head around that explanation since we were simply turned away from an empty restaurant. Furthermore, there is absolutely no mention of the reservation policy on their website or Facebook page. I have to admit that despite the glowing reviews about the brunch, I'm hesitant to return for brunch—or any meal—given the service we received. I've tried calling multiple times to verify if the reservation policy is true, but haven’t been able to get through. Overall, my ratings are: Rooms: 5 Service: 1 Location: 5

I finally had the chance to visit the Mckeansburg Hotel for lunch today, and I must say, the owner is one of the most genuinely friendly people you could meet. The food, my cocktail, and the service were all exceptional. The prices are reasonable. I ordered the beef tips with portobello mushrooms, and it was delicious! I highly recommend it. For dessert, I had the peanut butter pie, which was absolutely amazing! Overall, it was a delightful afternoon, and I highly recommend the Mckeansburg Hotel.

The service was exceptional, and the food was outstanding—a perfect choice for a lovely dinner. Their garlic Parmesan and black pepper wings are the best and absolutely delicious. Overall, I’d rate the service and location each a 5. Highlights of the hotel include its romantic and quiet ambiance.

Ordered steak which I had trouble cutting. Baked potato was not cooking long enough. Salad was ok along with bread and cucumber salad.Was very disappointed in the food. Will never eat there again. Hotel highlights: Luxury

Fine dining. Great service. Delicious food. The crab cakes are spectacular and the cod was cooked perfectly. I had a Guinness and it was poured perfectly. Always a winner.
