To those who criticize the use of canned ingredients: I have worked in a expensive 5-star restaurant where many ingredients came from cans, so it is not uncommon for restaurants to use them. Every restaurant uses canned goods, but they season them differently to achieve the desired flavor. I also do not understand the complaints about being charged for salsa, as every time I have been there, salsa has been promptly served at no extra cost. It was also refilled for free. Were you just eating salsa and not ordering a meal?

I am a huge fan of Mexican food and have not found an authentic Mexican restaurant since moving to the Bay in 2006. I've tried Estella's and Vallarta's, but it was not what I have been used to. One day, I found this small little place while driving by and it has been on my normal rotation ever since. <br/ <br/ You get free chips and salsa with every meal and the portions are of good size. Prices are reasonably, as well. It is a must eat.
