Elixir Cafe - New Plymouth

We visited here a while back but they made such an impact that I wanted to recommend them. Now that we have visited a few other places and have something to compare it to I see that this place is worth its weight I gold! Great service, good portion size, good pricing for what you get, funky kiwiana interior design. This place was a highlight of our weekend.

Staff were nice. Food is tasty, there was what we consider a paleo option for breakfast (the breakfast salad). For standard fare, the kids pancakes were well received. We couldn 't see anything obviously organic , with the exception of the peppermint tea. The décor was very kiwi oriented.

Having only been here less than a day, it was a very fortunate find via recommendation. And highly recommended at that. Friendly staff, very accommodating and professional. The food was great! Having a breakfast salad, slightly modified to have mushrooms and banana along with the bacon, poached egg and muscelin was just easy. It was a generous portion and cooked superbly. Well done team. Keep up the good work!
