Zaras Lil' Giant Supermarket Po-boys

This is an intriguing local grocery store. They had a garlic-flavored Tabasco sauce that I hadn't come across before—probably because it's making its debut here in New Orleans. I also noticed the panola pepper, which isn't known for being spicy, but I decided to buy some since it was on the shelf. I ordered a catfish platter from the deli, and they offer Big Easy kombucha as well. Additionally, they have some meats that they cook and keep warm under a heat lamp. Overall, it’s a decent option for a local store.

This is a fantastic little neighborhood grocery store. They offer fresh produce and a nice selection of deli items and seafood. I appreciate being able to pick up essential items without having to navigate a large supermarket where everything feels so spread out. The staff are always friendly, contributing to a great local atmosphere.

I often visit this place for groceries and to enjoy their shrimp po-boy. They have a great selection of groceries with plenty of fresh produce available. The po-boys are generously filled and absolutely delicious. The staff are kind and attentive. I will definitely keep shopping here!

Love Zara's but very disappointed with the Deli Service on today. Tried to place an order for Oyster PoBoy and Fries but the arrogant guy that answered phone told me that the grease was dirty. Tried to get an understanding of what he was trying to convey, which did not make matters any better. He continued to say that the grease was dirty. This makes me question the cleanliness of the DELI Department. I'm a long-time customer of Zara's. Not sure who this person is but hedefinitely needs some talking to because he is jeopardizing this Family Business

Great neighborhood market deli institution. Poboys there give any NOLA joint a run for its money (try the hot sausage). Has most everything you need for cooking drinking, along with very friendly, hard-working staff. I find myself there at least a few times a week.
