Yummy Sushi Hibachi - New Orleans

The restaurant is under new ownership, and unfortunately, the quality of the food and service has declined compared to the previous management. Additionally, prices have gone up.

Three years ago, I had a great experience here. Today, they reopened the dining room, and I was excited to finally enjoy a meal I've missed since they stopped offering take-out. Unfortunately, I was in for a disappointment. It took about 20 minutes for our food to arrive, and my rice in the Lunch Bento box was cold. The egg roll that comes with the box has changed entirely, including the sauce. While I know that some changes can be good, I’m not convinced this was one of them.

When I arrived at the restaurant, it seemed almost closed. Once inside, the dining room was empty and lacked a welcoming atmosphere. The hostess informed me that they were only serving take-out for lunch and there was no table service, which I hadn't seen mentioned online. I ordered the sashimi lunch, and it was served quickly. However, the portions were noticeably smaller compared to what I usually get at other places, and the salad was quite plain. Overall, my lunch experience was disappointing, especially considering the price was similar to what I normally pay for a nice meal with better quality food and service.

Prices are unmatched. The Shrimp Tempura roll was only $8! Really delicious. A hidden sushi gem.

My family really enjoys their food. It is reasonably priced and the employees are very nice.
