Tropical Isle - New Orleans

Fun bar with some fun drinks! Sound and exciting and the grenades were delicious. No line to get in. We were served quickly.

Devan at Top of the Trop has set the mood for our whole trip. We came every day for their 3 for 1 specials at the top of the trophy (balcony second floor). I'd get a Gin n Tonic and my friend would get a Jameson and Ginger-Ale. It was made so good and enjoyed amazing. The perfect balance. On the second floor there is a claw machine. And if you know my friend, he'll use him. They told us that no one in 13 years won this machine and what is exactly. MY BOYFRIEND WON IT!! Check out my pictures for the new member of our family!! This place was such a joy. We'd hang around, throw pearls and chill. I miss this place. We went every day of our 4-day trip. Can't wait till next year!

The first place I visit on Bourbon Street is Tropical isle to grab a hand grenade. Just the best drink in NOLA hands down. Each bar is suitable for a great drink with friends.

2 words... Hand Grenade. Enough said.. I love them frozen, I can only have 2 but boy oh boy am I feeling great after them... Tropical isle had more than 1 location so if 1 is out just walk to the next one to get your frozen. You won't be disappointed.. You can also buy the mix for $26 and they give you a bunch of cups.. love this place.

Our bartender's name was Tim representing Detroit and the Detroit Tigers. He was an awesome bartender and had great stories. Me and my friends ordered the Hand Grenade drinks. They had the frozen option and on the rocks option. I suggest on the rocks!
