The American Sports Saloon

The food was better than expected. Not a giant menu. Not a ton of selections of IPAs. However sitting outside on a Monday night game was awesome. We each had our own TV.

This place was perfect to watch a game. Plenty of TVs but the best part was how welcome they made you feel. Rebecca was all smiles and Jimmy such a sports bar host, have not seen this since the sitcom Cheers. It has been a long time since we enjoyed a game this much even though our team got there butts kicked. Food was good and drinks excellent, esp the **** Mary. Thanks for making this such a friendly bar.

Fun, great service! Love our barmaid/host! She even stayed late we watch the end of the game. I can't say enough about how great our time was!

Open late sports bar with friendly and attentive service. Our sever provided great feedback on the food. Portions were good and the fries basket could feed the table. We had 6 in our group. Plenty of draft beers, full bar and some can variety. The wings were good Plenty of TV's with several sports events, tonight was World Series so most of the TV's were on that. Open late was a draw for us as we just flew in.

Groovy cool awesome big patio The American Sports Saloon is nicely located in the French Quarter directly across from the French Market. They have a fantastic wrap around balcony where you can get some amazing views of the French Quarter and French Market that makes it worth a visit. The American Sports Saloon has some great additional space they use for private events which might also be something you want to check out. So far I've only tried the burger and it was alright and the rest of the menu looked like it had some basic pub grub that would satisfy many people who just wanted something simple. Overall I really enjoy this space and the huge balcony really makes this a fantastic spot to enjoy in the New Orleans French Quarter.
