Shake Therapy - New Orleans

The only vegan options is sorbets, so it is not much different than any normal ice shop

I had heard that Shake Therapy offered vegan options, but I got a little nervous when I sat in line and wasn't sure. Luckily, they do have vegan options and they are delicious! The vegan flavors are sorbets, and I tried the chocolate sorbet with peanut butter coated inside my cup - it was amazing! While some of the fancier options can get a bit pricey with multiple toppings, I opted for a simple shake with just one coating and it was still delicious. My chocolate sorbet shake mixed with almond milk was absolutely delicious, and I will definitely be back. The woman working there was friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable.

I visited Shake Therapy in New Orleans and tried their super thick shake. Initially, I had planned on ordering a crazy shake, but was surprised to find out it was a "build your own" concept. I struggled to decide what to include in my shake and wished they offered a few pre-made crazy shake options. However, I appreciated the concept of giving the customer control. Despite my lack of creativity, the shake was still very tasty. The staff was friendly and made an effort to help me customize my shake, but I wasn't feeling inspired. They offer a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings for those who want to create their own shake. Even though my shake ended up being on the simpler side, it was still delicious.
