Rue 127 - New Orleans

This had been one of the stops on a food tour I 'd done and I wanted to return for a full meal. Things started off a bit off we got there a few minutes before they were scheduled to open. I tried the door, and thought it was locked. After opening time I tried again and it still seemed locked. I didn 't realize the handle was locked in place, but the door was, in fact, unlocked (I just needed to pull it open). I 'll know better next time. We were the only ones there for most of the dinner which may have been because it was mid week. The service was excellent and the food was scrumptious. I will definitely recommend and return.

Bob, our server, was very friendly. We had made a reservation several days in advance, but due to the restaurant being busy, we were seated in a hallway. The food was a bit inconsistent - the shrimp toast and salads were good, but the entrees, duck and oxtail pasta, were overly salty.

Fantastic! We LOVE the cheese board, the main reason we keep coming back. Hanger steak was perfect. Highly recommend!

Went there with a friend for the first time. I had the scallops, very good. Everything was good but I think that this place is a little pricey. The services was great.
