I loved the ceiling to floor window drapes and the large windows that brought in so much light into the room. Check in and check out was simple as I expected. Wi-Fi is fast enough to browse and do work. It was an excellent location between all the places we needed for the weekend (shopping outlet, canal street, Poydras street, Rouses grocery store, restaurants and museums, nail salon). And it was only a 15 minute walk from the AirPort Express bus stop. Instead of spending more money on an Uber we just caught the bus to get back to the airport. You’re also close to the St Charles street car for a ride across town too. At the end of the day, we also enjoyed the rooftop pool. You can see all the tall buildings that run along Poydras St which was pretty cool too. Definitely coming back to this hotel when we return to New Orleans.Food drinks: Lucy’s across the street is excellent . Rouses is only a few blocks north for grocery needs and hot deli foods when you’re not feeling like eating at a restaurant.
Long story short….I traveled with my wife and my 2 year old boy this week. After ten minutes we got in to the room, I saw my son was chewing something in his mouth, but we didn’t give him any snacks yet. So, he spit it out and I found it’s a piece of Recees he found under the chair. We were freaked out because he is allergic to some nuts. The good thing is my son didn’t have any allergic reaction eventually, and we found another piece in the unlocked safe. Looks like they really need to improve on their cleaning service. Hope it helps.
We stayed her for Essence. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The infused water was refreshing after a long day. One day they had complimentary drinks in the lobby, which was a nice added touch. I believe the location was walking distance to most attractions. I would stay again and would recommend it to others.
The location is great. The staff was very knowledgeable and nice. We was able to get to our destination within 15 minutes, and was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room.Walkability: Numerous café and businesses to venture toon foot.
New Orleans Coffee Beignet Company located in the hotel had really good Beignets. We also had an egg white omelette and hash browns that fed two with a few bites left over! Lovely Renaissance location. We had an executive room which was Very spacious. Staff was very friendly at every point from the valet, to the reception desk bellman couldn 't ask for better staff all around. True to the Warehouse District, this Marriott property had art for chandeliers and a local artist 's sculptures in the courtyards available for purchase. Many good restaurants nearby. Location was also convenient to the Smoothie King Center.
