Right across from the Dome so the views are great! Spacious, various seating and right on the corner! There was tooooo many gnats though.. it made it hard to enjoy my sandwich because of the constant flying bugs.. trash was overflowing a bit and maybe that?s why. Other than that, it was a nice coffee shop!
This is the dirtiest PJs I?ve ever been to. The bathroom was filthy and there were no supplies. The storage area is visible and was unkempt. All of the customer facing shelves had coffee splashes and each one was dirty. The espresso tasted like the machine hasn?t been cleaned in ages. The tap merchandising cooler with the milks, etc. was silencing. The ice bin had mold around the top where it slides open and closed. They clearly were busy before I went in, but the condition that the store was in was created over time. Someone needs to go there when the shop is closed to deep clean and sanitize. There?s stores that are going to be less than clean because of the clientele and location, but this store is in the business district. I only gave the store three stars because the team members were nice. Oh, and they were out of coconut milk.
I don't often give unfavorable reviews. I was hoping my original visit was just an off day. I work close by and there aren't many choices for coffee in the area. I thought I could revisit and things would be different. It's just not the case. This location is the worst experience. I haven't visited once, but multiple times and all of them have been unfavorable. I'd rather go without than visit this location. More times than not I have gone without simply because they don't have anything I request. I had originally only encountered the one afternoon worker that is always having a bad day. But a few days ago I went in the morning and it was a repeat of the same. I should have read the room though. This location is across the street from and in high rise buildings with multiple floors, but at 7:30 AM there isn't a line. There were two customers in the store in the morning? The workers aren't mean, but aren't helpful. Any time I ask for anything, things that should and are available at other Pj's, I get a firm no. Seasonal flavored iced coffee? Nope, there is never any made even though the sign is out front advertising it. No Jingle Bells, No King Cake, No Honey Macadamia Nut, No Southern Wedding Cake. Any flavored iced coffee at all available? No. Granita? Nope, the machine is broken. Grind the beans I would like to purchase? No, can't do that the grinder is broken. Velvet Ice? The blender is out. This isn't one visit, but multiple visits over time until it was my last visit.
I went to this PJs location for the first time Tuesday morning and didn?t stay long. The music was really enjoyable and the worker was really nice and friendly. She had really good energy as if it was 1 in the afternoon instead of 6am. There was a few small gnats flying but overall I loved it.
