Lilette - New Orleans

I had another amazing lunch on Magazine Street! Lilette puts a healthy twist on classic New Orleans dishes. If you haven't experienced dining at Lilette yet, what are you waiting for?

Very nice lunch. I got my greens and protein in a magnificent dish that was very satisfying ???? also they pour Bastioni Chianti Classico by the glass so a perfect place to look for a delicious treat ?

Let?s start by pointing out the padded velvet walls. They?re beautiful and luxurious, yet they are warm and inviting. I joined my family of six(1 toddler) for a light dinner to hold us over for late drinks and desserts. We started with two appetizers, with the white truffle parmigiano toast and the potato gnocchi. I used to have dinner there quite often, about once a month, because I love their potato gnocchi. I can honestly say it’s the best gnocchi I’ve ever had, and I’ve traveled around the world in search of it. There’s nothing quite like theirs! Beyond that, the entire menu is fantastic as well.

"The ambiance is pleasant, and there's a lovely hidden outdoor courtyard. They might provide spray if you're getting bitten by mosquitoes. The gnocchi is among the best I've ever tasted; the portion is small, but it's absolutely delicious! The lamb dish is quite popular, but I found it to be just average and wouldn't order it again. It wasn't bad, but not particularly impressive either. The hanger steak is what you would expect from that cut; while the flavor is good, it's still a lesser cut of meat. The fries are also enjoyable. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the drinks were excellent. Overall, we would consider returning."
