French Truck Coffee - New Orleans

Stopped in during a cross-country road trip for a quick bite to eat and coffee before we got back on the road. Being from the PNW, we weren’t super impressed but very 3-star worthy. If you’re looking for more than avocado toast to eat, I’d head elsewhere.

Clean fast and tasty. A bit windy when the door is open.

Had searched online for coffee shop reviews and recommended French Truck. As we entered, we saw that she was using a super automatic machine. I'm always skeptical, as they simply not only draw shots, but also a semi-automatic and almost always under extracted. We spoke to the barista who was super helpful and friendly and decided to give it a try. Remove americano and latte. We said the company went to Superautomats for barista training and sales. we get both But to sacrifice quality over lightness and such. no I'll never have to visit a French Truck Coffee again. The coffee gets 1 star and the barista 5 stars.

I love French Truck. This is close to my office and a great afternoon walk for a little caffeine pick me up. Staff is always courteous and informative! Thanks guys!

Edited: ordered a large cappuccino for $4.40 and see attached photo for size. It was good but... Never again ?Never disappointed when it's raining at lunchtime, because that means I'm eating from French Truck! (I work in the poydras building )Photo of the pressed turkey sandwich sub chips for salad. $10 and v yummy. Its the fruit compote sharp cheddar for mee ?
