Desi Vega's Steakhouse - New Orleans

We dined at this restaurant on November 3, 2021, to celebrate my birthday, and I must say the food and service were outstanding. We ordered the Ribeye with lobster tail, Colorado Lamb Chops, and pork belly as an appetizer. The ribeye was, without a doubt, the best steak I've ever had. I thought the rib cap I had in Vegas was unbeatable, but this surpassed it! My friend was also thrilled with her lamb chops. Honestly, I can’t say anything negative about this place! The waitstaff was attentive and courteous, making my special day even more enjoyable. I will definitely return when we visit New Orleans again!

I am so grateful for the fantastic dining experience I had! From the moment I walked in, the service and seating were exceptional, and the food was outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the ribeye was absolutely fantastic! The drinks were also excellent. Everything was flawless. Cadet truly is a hidden gem! I can't wait to return!

We started with an incredible tower of appetizers, which included lobster tail, oysters, crab, seared tuna, shrimp, and more. It was truly a delightful selection. The mixed drinks were fantastic as well. I decided to try the Wagyu ribeye, and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Everyone at the table seemed to thoroughly enjoy their meals and dessert as well. I highly recommend this restaurant and feel fortunate to have been introduced to it by my friend, John Freeman!

From start to finish, we were thoroughly impressed. The manager, Cornel, warmly welcomed us at the door. Our servers—Nick, Lucio, and Felipe—were exceptional, providing detailed and enticing descriptions of everything on the menu. The Cowboy Crucible with Foie Gras Butter was out of this world! We can't wait to return!

Great restaurant- I love coming when I’m in town and always leave satisfied. Service was impeccable as always. It can get a little loud BUT that is completely circumstantial. Please try this place if you haven’t already.
