A funny place. Very clean with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious!!! Starting the boiled potatoes were amazing. A touch of spices as they were cooked with Cajun season! Shrimp Po's boy was tasteful and the shrimp was fried to a perfect golden brown and had a light coating of dough. The seafood Okra Gumbo was tasteful and had a lot of okra and shrimp! Let's go back to the Garden District next time!

Great service from Traci. My first time with boiled crust gel gimmy. The free potatoes with butter you should get on the menu on arrival, as I could just go a bowl of them and be quite satisfied!!! Overall we enjoyed our meal and experience.

This iconic restaurant was not disappointed. Tracey, our server, was top notch. She brought the boiled crust fish, sat next to me and gave me step by step instructions on how to remove the crust. My first time I eat cancer and it was delicious! My husband had the crab ridge and gave him 4 stars. It was a bit too much cheese for its taste. Our friend ordered the crab filled Flounder; there were 5 stars. We ordered amber beer, served in a large chilled glasses. It seemed to be a favorite of the locals. If you are looking for home cooked food and fresh seafood away from the French Quarter, Deanie’s will be a great choice in the Garden District.
