Daisy Dukes - New Orleans

The food was fantastic! We tried the pork chop and the biscuits and gravy, and both were delicious! The 2-for-1 mimosas were the perfect addition to our meal. I have to mention that the highlight of our experience was the staff. Our server, Juliana, was cheerful, attentive, and quick to respond. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be returning!

The food at this restaurant was fantastic! During my visit to New Orleans, I found it to be a perfect dining spot that was away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street, yet still conveniently nearby. The service was exceptionally friendly and quick, and both the fried oysters and fried shrimp were excellent! I highly recommend this place if you can snag a table!

My wife says they deserve a five-star rating from me, but since she doesn't write reviews, I’ll share her thoughts. Normally, I’m not a fan of grits, but I could eat theirs all day long. I really enjoyed our meal at Daisy Dukes. The hostess was fantastic and seated us quickly. We ordered a veggie omelet with grits—those grits were exceptional, and the homemade biscuit was just as good. Daisy Dukes is one of the two places my wife and I are eager to revisit. I also want to mention the Bloody Mary; I prefer mine very spicy, and this one definitely hit the mark!

We were welcomed and seated by Sarah, who also served us during our visit. She was fantastic and even managed to pronounce my name correctly after reading it from my card, which is quite rare! I decided on a breakfast platter that included pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sausage. Being at a bar, I paired my meal with a rum and coke (with lime, of course). I chose the well rum because, why not? I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and drinkable it was. The pancakes were fluffy, with that perfect crispy edge that I love. The scrambled eggs were cooked just right, and I had no complaints about the sausage or hash browns either. All in all, if I find myself in New Orleans again and craving diner food, I would absolutely make a return visit to Daisy Dukes.

This place is perfect for a quick bite to eat. On my first visit, I encountered a very rude customer who was bothering the night manager. However, when I returned, she remembered me and kindly asked how I and my party were doing. I assured her that we were fine and inquired about her well-being. She was very apologetic regarding something that was clearly beyond her control. The food here is fantastic, and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend trying their gumbo and po'boy combo!
