Copper Vine - New Orleans

This restaurant is an incredible lunch destination with outstanding food. The fried chicken sandwich was nearly flawless, featuring a crispy exterior and tender interior, garnished with a selection of freshly pickled vegetables. I was also amazed by the salad—the arugula was so fresh and flavorful, it felt as if it had been picked from a garden that very day, a rarity for salads at most restaurants, even the more upscale ones. The lump crab deviled eggs were another highlight, generously filled with visible and flavorful crab meat, complemented by a uniquely mustard-forward egg mixture. The bartender was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and I would definitely return here time and again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant. The food was amazing, and our waitress Shell was attentive and helpful. Some of our party did the tasting menu, we also had the mussels, oyster trio and crudo. The only small hiccup was the hostess Caitlyn, not friendly, didn’t bother to greet us upon returning to the hostess station. I’m hopeful this was a result of a long day.

Never go to Copper Vine in New Orleans. Food and service were fine. In fact, everything was until we were told there was a 1 hr and 45 minute limit for two people dining. I talked with management who confirmed the policy regardless of the amount being spent. I told him we’d never return, and I vowed that I would spread the word to others not to dine there. They weren't 100% full, there was no one waiting, no one said anything on arrival or when I said we were slow diners and would be there a while. We had two, four-course specialty (Reveillon) dinners and ordered two bottles of wine, so they made money off of us and we were within 15 min. of leaving to attend a concert. NEVER SUPPORT COPPER VINE.

Selected copper vine on recommendation of a friend. we were at brunch on a Sunday before we visited a matinee at the theater. it was an excellent choice. eating, drinks and service were all excellent.

I'm usually blown away from the food and service here, but our last visit was overwhelming. I hope it was a one-time thing. the dinner menu often changes and the most recent selections were good. cocktails and wine selection never disappoint.
