Always super tasty and consistent for brunch I love this on a cool Sunday and then go for a walk through the park. The eggs Benny is delicious, even if it was delivered and I love how to put the sauce on the side. This place is comfort food without any doubt.
Really great food and service. Many options on the menu, both savory and sweet. I'd say the food is quite authentic. It's a kind of Pricy, but that's to be expected where it is.
30 minute wait wasn?t too bad, got to enjoy the sun, birds and breeze. Had to switch seats because the sun was beaming but once everything got settled, it was a decent sailing. You could tell the kitchen was backed up because groups of people who were seated the entire time we waited didn?t get food until a few minutes before we got ours. very few options for people with diets that don?t include pork. On street parking. we didn?t get to use bathrooms because of vaccinations. our host server was amazing too.
3.5 stars here. service knocks off half a star. chose this location of this chain to enjoy a birthday breakfast before flying home. Really glad I did. Food was very good. Menu has many decadent choices, not much you would call low calorie. They do a nice job of guiding folks who are looking for gluten free and vegetarian options here though. Commendable. Also a large and varied drink menu, including **** Marys and Mimosas by the pitcher. Chose to pass on those even though we were celebrating. Not busy on arrival and the morning was nice enough to decide on a courtyard table in the sun. Hostess was very pleasant and friendly. As we perused the menu our server arrived and we peppered her with questions, all of which she answered easily. I chose to go full decadence and ordered one of their seasons eatings specials, the Pecan Praline Candied Bacon French Toast served with two eggs (scrambled) and sausage patties. Wife chose something a bit different for her, the Hash Brown Benedict. Comes with either grits, fruit, or more potatoes. This dish includes red pepper slices which my wife can?t eat and our server relayed that it would be no problem to exclude these from the preparation. After placing our order, things slowed down significantly unfortunately. Though they were not busy-3/4 other tables in out combined-we didn?t receive any attention from our server for what seemed like an inordinate amount of time. Felt like all the outside tables were left wanting for attention as we noticed no one checked if anything was needed during the long wait for our entrees to be delivered. Servers just hung out inside. Once the food was brought out, we were impressed. My plate of French toast was huge. Six half slices covered in pecans and bacon, drizzled with caramel sauce. A sight to behold. The eggs were cooked properly and the sausage had a nice herby country flavor. The French toast was delicious with the sauce perfectly complimenting the other toppings. Both the pecans and bacon were very sweet with the smokiness of the bacon a great contrast in flavors. The dish may be too sweet for some but if it sounds good at all, and your good and hungry, I highly recommend it. The hash brown benedict was also huge. Two fried potato croquettes stuffed with ham and cheese, held together I think by sour cream, topped with perfectly poached eggs and a unique take on hollandaise sauce. Instead of being a standard lemony sauce, this version is a mushroom herb combo. The verdict on this dish was that the sauce was not a good complement to the potatoes and eggs. A bit too much of a clash of flavors. Eggs and croquettes were very good though. The chocolate milk I ordered took a bit of time to arrive and though it looked good decked out like a milkshake with a mound of whipped cream on top, it had little chocolate flavor. While the service issue was frustrating, the food helped make up for it. For breakfast or brunch, this would be a place I would visit again to fur
